Was Invited To Muskie Hunt On Wednesday?

Have never been after muskie before.

My expectations are low because of the 10,000 cast thing.

My buddy Wally Banfi is taking me.

All I have to do is show up Wednesday morning in Madison.

Any tips to a virgin muskie angler?

Make sure you have polorized glasses so you will be able to see them if you have any action. If you do happen to have some action, get ready to spend LOTS of money. Good luck.

Be prepaired to spend ALOT of money! Once you start you cant stop! Polarized glasses and a good hat and watch for lazy fish well behind yout baits this time of year.

Just be patient, and listen to what he says. Most importantly stay focused and pay attention, cause they always seem to hit when you least expect it. Have fun and report back, hopefully with some pics

Stretch out your arms and shoulders before you start casting! If you don’t feel comfortable throwing 10″ lures you can downsize cause muskies eat those too… Have fun!!!

Fish for bass…yo catch more muskies this way… they LOVE bluegill colored swim jigs

my fingers are crossed

10 follows yesterday…each chased the figure eights and left…

5 of those follows were mine….one was enormous.

I used surface lures most of the day.

I’d consider that a good day. When are you going back?

the other 2 are on that same lake as i type.
