First muskie

    I was casting for walleyes from shore in a part of my favorite lake with a size 8 original Rapala when WHAM my first muskie hit. It took me a good while to get him in on my 6′ med-light walleye tackle. When i landed him i measured and weighed him. 36″ and 13 Lbs. by no means a Trophy but i was plenty exited to catch him! Then While I unhooked him he flopped and embeded three trebles into my chest and nipple. lesson learned? muskie that laughs last laughs best…..
