This is a little bit outdated, but was a nice looking 48″er that i got on a topwater lure on the 5th cast of the day at sunrise before the big cool down last week.
NICE fish!!! I was fishing in that same time window and had one blow up on my lure but no hook up and no second attempt. Glad to see someone put one in the boat!!!
Thursday thru Sunday on Vermilion last week. Wind blew at 25-30 out of the NW for three straight days. My girlfriend caught our only fish, her first casting, 41.5″.
Nicest day was Sunday, sure was scenic on the lake with three fresh inches of snow.
So, I know this isn’t super big but I have been waiting to post my first Muskie for a long time now. finally happened saturday. didn’t get length. but what a rush!
I love November! Was fortunate enough to find some time to chase some metro muskys around a few times the last couple weeks while the nice weather lasted. The biggest was caught by a fishing buddy at 53″ off a phantom. I ended up with a 47″ off a pounder with a double 13 bulldozer and a nice healthy 43″ thanksgiving pre snowstorm ski off a heli dawg. good way to end the open water season
