I was going through some pictures from this summer and I have a question on one of them. The Muskie in the picture was caught on Mille Lacs. I believe this is a Tiger Muskie.

My question is, am I right, is this a Tiger Muskie? I could not find any documentation that they were stocked. I assume it could happen naturally too.

The fish was like no Muskie I have ever caught on Mille Lacs. It was 38″ and very skinny.

    What do you guys think?

Tiger for sure! Yes, they do “happen” naturally too.

Awesome tiger for sure. Even cooler it came from the pond

What better member to answer the question!

I was pretty sure but I have never seen another caught nor heard about it. Has anyone else caught a Tiger on Mille Lacs?

You and your dog have the exact same look on your faces, all business. Nice markings.

There are a few natural ones in there. Have seen one personally. Also know of one giant tiger caught out there this past season as well. Cool catch!

My one and only muskie came from Mille Lacs and was a 38″ tiger as well.

Yes, I have. In the late 90’s I caught a big tiger out there. I assumed it was a naturally(well…as natural as could be…) occuring fish.
