Deepwater edges

    Alex got his first big toothy corkin suckers. This fish hit over 28 feet of water with the sucker down about 6-7 feet. We were working all of our fish over deep water and had a few others that took interest but never got hooks into anything else. Alex has been asking all summer about doing this and I’m glad we got a chance to get out and drag some meat.

    He can’t stay down with three barrels on him, not with three barrels he can’t.

    We actually had a balloon take off like the barrel scene in Jaws, clicker screaming… All I could hear was another movie quote… “We’re gonna need a bigger boat”. Draggin’ meat is fun on a bun!

    Nice Pike Alex. Congrats on an awesome year fishing. You definitely have that bar set pretty high now.
