    Hit Tonka on the way home from helping a buddy pick up a new boat. Jumped in with my friend Tom Wartman of Big Momma Lures and in short order he put me on my first MN/Tonka fish… Not a big Tonka fish but a good start at 41″

    Be very careful, it will be easy to become addicted to these Minnesota Lakes.

    Only knew of 1 other muskie boat in the area and they were with us… as far as addicting the lake looks fun to fish but would tire of the milfoil in time and long for my gin clear waters and defined weed edge bite…. unless of course I went farther north, I do love my time on Vermilion and miss it as soon as I pull the boat off every year untill I get back….Was definately a different type of fishing for sure…
