    I know its been a slow year for some, but how can I be the first to post?

    I caught this on a 12 in sucker with a quick strike rig.

    Saturday my church league hosted a “Species Challenge” for musky and I caught this with 30 min left. It was good enough for 2nd place.
    We spotted her on a follow then circled back and I let the sucker drift out the back of the boat. As soon as we got near the waypoint, by partner had a follow, but she wasn’t interested in his topwater. No more than 30 seconds later, my bait clicker starts to go crazy. I set the hook and brought her up to the boat.
    For once it worked just like it is supposed to!

    Doesnt look like the thread was pinned, must have got lost.
    Here is one from last Saturday. Wies and I put 4 in the boat with 48 1/4″ largest for the day.

    Since it’s almost the end of 2011 and won’t be catching any pikes here’s a pic of my first ever caught this year on a spinnerbait.(Stoddard)
