I’m looking for input on the escape 2600.
Any and all comments would be greatly appreciated.
Good, bad, ugly, I’d like to hear it all.
I have concerns about how easy it is to make fairly short moves.
We do a lot of moving as I don’t have the patience to sit somewhere not seeing or catching fish.
Right now we move without fully collapsing our old yukon.
Is this realistic with the bigger more complex eskape?
The side doors look like the best design I have seen, so this is why I’m looking in this direction.

I love mine, bit of a learning curve to set up, I found that I may have put the skin on too tight. I extend all the hoops, then I put the front vertical spreader poles in before I raise the 2nd hoop to it’s upright position ( this is the hoop that will be slide so it’s above the door zipper)love the room. and the thermo insulation and is very comfortable to fish out of. It may not be as hole hopping friendly as other units, you can set it up as a wind break and move until you find the spot you want to setup on. maybe the IDO crew has some tips to share using this unit.

I love mine now that I have retrofitted it to my needs. Ran it for a year stock. Didnt like how the seat bars limited me to laying my otter case in the bottom of the tub (old original otter boxes) so I pulled them and installed an otter crossbar and bases. That opened up the back of the tub for taller items like the heater, rod cases, and my milwaukee packouts I use.

If you are adding the eskimo hitch, make sure you do so before installing the canvas…. mines slightly crooked cause I was long arming it.

How does this shack fish with two people? Is it larger enough. I am leaning towards this one or the 2800 next season. I would have the tow bar so thanks for letting us know to install prior to assembly of the fabric.

Was looking at this one or the Clam Yukon?

Mine fishes two very well. Enough room in between for a console, and all our gear. My wife likes it way better than our old pop up, If we have the two kids they have plenty of room to fish with mom inside and I hole hop around.
