I am really looking at getting a E40 this weekend, I was wondering though. If I wanted to use the just the auger with a drill and not the power head, Is that something doable and what type of adapter would I need.

Im betting you wont want to. The whole unit is freakishly light already.
But you are probably thinking of saving some space.
You are going to love it.

I’m not sure what adapter works with it. I’d contact eskimo if you feel you need one. I’d be willing to bet my dewalt drill is heavier than the eskimo powerhead

Yeah I am just trying to free up some space and to have a just in case factor.

I know they are stupid light already.

I put the quick disconnect kit on my eskimo so you could just pop it out and stick it in a drill….. Plus the pop in spike driver is nice as well. waytogo

I grabbed a pistol v2 at the St Paul show any way just for a backup……and the deal on the E40’s was rediculous……I dang near grabbed another one.
