Merc Pro Kicker Questions?

A buddy of mine is considering purchasing a unused 2006 Pro Kicker. It was mounted on a boat package and the original owner didn’t want it. It was originally rigged as a remote throttle and steer setup. He would like to convert it to a tiller. I was wondering if there is a tilt and trim switch and starting button on the tiller handles for these motors? As it sits he will need to buy the tiller handle setup and was wondering if those controls are on the handle and what one would cost. Thanks in advance for the help!

There is a power tilt switch on the handle, a stop button on the end and you shift forward and reverse via the handle.

    Awesome motor

looking to buy a 9.9 kicker as well. I measure my transom at 22 -23 inches. Not sure if I need a long shaft or extra long shaft. Like the idea of the extra long to insure the cavitation plate is under the boat, but dont like how far the prop will be. Any hints?

The boat is a crestliner sportfish 1850. Transom is 25 inches, but where kicker would go it is a few inches shorter.
