Deals at the show?

Any one finding any good deals at the sports show? If you do feel free to post them here. Here is what I found down there today.
G3 Jon boat package. 1575 boat with trailer and 25hp yamaha 4 stroke. Looked like the lights and battery wireing was included. It also has a floor and seat mounts. $5400.00

SG17LCA Lowest prices I found on these so far. $74.99 and $79.99. I picked up mine from Fishing tackle outlet. Got it comboed with a pinicle 8’6″ rod for $89. The rod also has a $10 rebate. If you go looking for this deal make sure to call the store in champlain and tell them to bring down some rods. I bought the last 2.
Also if you stop at the Tackle outlet booth take a look at the thunderstick knock offs. At $2 a peice they might be worth a try.
I cant remember the other place that had the sg17lca for $74 but I do remember that they are out of Duluth.

Thorne Brothers has the much anticipated Daves Kaboom Cranks, in the nitro shiner design. These cranks are pretty much the original Deep Thunder Sticks, with one slight modification to the bill, which allows them to run a couple feet deeper. Many colors to choose from and they also have there hot-en-tot designs as well.

I shopped T8’s at the show today… best price I could come up with was $2350 for a PLHC including install. If someone knows where I can get a better deal, please lemme know! Thanks!

man i tell you what, i didn’t have enough money in the ol’ check book for that show. and wouldn’t you know it, I ran out of money and still had things that i wanted to buy. I did end up with a free bag of plastics from strike king. I don’t know how i got them, but hooked me a free bag, have to give them a try. I also stoped by the fin tec booth, talked with mike, I will probably have to wait until i get some extra money here soon and hook me up with some of them knuckle ball jigs. I will have to peek at brian’s tackle box and see what all he has. but I did have alot of fun and ended up bringing the wife and little boy. he was the life of the show, everywhere that we went, the people working the boths where making chit chat with him and he just smiled and drooled all over the place. he didn’t cry or fuss one time the whole 5 hours that we where there, what a kid. I think that he is going to be a good little fisherman.(dads wishfull thinking, showed momma the new boat that I want to get, put Lane inside to demonstrate how nice it would be than the one that i have) almost worked. got to meet forest from ranger, Lane got to pet Ron Shara’s dog, the hightlight of the show for him.

I was wrong on that price on the T8 at Hoots it was $2336. I belive that was with install, it do’es not sound like there is much to the install anyway. Hannays had them for 2350 with install, I was looking at tiller’s not the remote.

JickyJack, I have a dumb question for you, what is a PLHC? Also what place were you at that had them for $2350? At Crystal-Pierz Marine they wanted $2600, same price here at Al’s in Rochester. I would think that if you took the best quote from the boat show at took it to your local dealer that they would match that price.

I’m looking for a tiller as well. After getting the pricing I guess I’d rather have power tilt than electric start. Getting one or the other seemed to put me in the $2300 $2400 ballpark… getting both options was another $500-ish.

I got the $2350 price from Hannay’s as well.. Hoots told me $2499, then after a bit $2399.

I thought all the T8’s came with both power tilt & electric start?

If I understood right (which assumes a lot ) they were each options.

H – stands for a tiller handle. I will have a 2004 available this fall if you are interested… It will have less than 100 hours on it and all service/maintence performed by the Yamaha service trailer.
