Lowrance GlobalMap 3300C color GPS

The Lowrance GlobalMap 3300C has begun mass shipping and you should be able to find it at most retailers now.

I’ll be in the market someday for a mapping unit for my boat. Looking for what will have the best charts and contours for the Columbia River from the Snake River down to the ocean. Also lakes of Oregon and Washington. Which one- Garmin or the big L??

I’d say Lowrance as far as being able to get charts for that area. You can get charts from Garmin too, but I think I’d call Navionics and ask them to email you some screen shots of the area you plan to fish. Call 1-800-848-5896 and just explain that your interested in seeing detail for your area. They should be able to email shots to you.

I’ve got some nice screen shots on my website but they are of Mille Lacs. Might give you an idea of what to expect though.
