Reel Help!

I have an Abu Garcia 6600 C4 that seems to reel harder than my other baitcast reels. Its only been used a few times. Any ideas on how to make it reel smoother?
Side note, only raised one muskie on Forest Lake this morning.

I would suggest a drop or two of oil on the line guide gear and then clean and regrease the cogs and bearings. This is assuming of course you haven’t already done this.
