LOOKS and SOUNDS awsome. I’ve been a Merc kinda guy since..the early ’70’s. Love my 90… but I sure hope they don’t have …what was that new Johnson motor that lead them into bankrupcy?

I think Merc should give me one to test for a couple years.

Order me up two of the 250’s Wade. I will just use Pay Pal.

I hope for Merc’s sake that the engine is popular. They have just about staked their future as a company on it.
The Japanese manufacturers have just flat out been kicking their butts in the market. So much that they have been complaining to the government about unfair competition from the overseas guys.
I think my Merc is o.k. (just o.k.) but would have much rather had a Yammy on the back. The dealer didn’t want to break the Merc off my Fishawk and I got such a great buy on it I didn’t want to muddy the water.
The new motor sounds impressive. For a Joe six-pack angler such as myself the horsepower and speed is excessive. They are not trying to capture that market with this motor, for sure.

I think they will do really well with off shore and great lakes fisherman and should get a good share of the high-end inland market. You’re right though, it better produce for Merc. as much dough as they threw at this project.
