Looking at the Service Manual for that motor, it shows how to install a rebuild kit for the trim motor. For that the motor and trim motor stay on, but it looks like you can remove the trim motor without removing the entire motor. You’ll want the motor tilted all the way up and slide an steel bar through between the mounting bracket and the motor for support, and they also recommend using a hoist attached to the prop shaft as a “fail safe” to support the motor – that’s a lot of weight that could drop on you when you remove the lines on the trim cylinder if something goes wrong.
Good luck.
