My son’s MinnKota transom motor, I believe has sheared it’s prop pin. I have soaked the screw that is in the prop hub, but still cannot get it loose in order to take the prop off. Any ideas? Thanks.

well if it’s like my maxum 74 with a slot and a nut you cut off the plastic prop because I can’t hold the shaft and turn the nut to get it loose so you just cut off the prop and then you can hold the shaft and take off the plastic topped locknut good luck Stan

You should use a flat tip screwdriver in the slot in the end of the shaft to hold the shaft while loosening the lock nut. Its really pretty easy.
