I was also looking into this product…my question is…should you drain your injection tank of reg. 2 cycle oil, before adding the synthetic?

seems like an odd one. that 25W seems a little heavy for this region. What application were you going to use it in? I run 20W-50 but that’s for race only stuff in the middle of summer.

20w-50 is a common weight 4-stroke oil for hot climate applications. My quad calls for it in summer. It does not relate to injection oil that I am aware of. I have never heard of 2-stroke oils referred to by weight. Please clarify question.

This is what they market for marine use but the viscosty seemed a little odd to me.

That oil isn’t for a 2cycle injection motor it’s for a 4 cycle oil I don’t think it will burn and not lube a 2 cyle motor my guess

Yea. Your talking about crankcase oil. Check your engine specs. Only use it if it calls for it. Like I said before that weight oil is a summer/high temp oil. My Merc 40 4-stroke manual lists it as a viable option just not below 40 degrees.
