I put one on my V2 power drive last night. It went well,…took way more time to read the instructions than to do the job. Basically, you take off the top, reroute some wires and put the new top on. Then you take off the side and subtatite the connections for the black and white wires. It appears that with a wire pig tail, you could set it up to switch to the pedal and back.

Did it work? Yes,…it took awhile for my foot to relax and not try to hit the pedal. The spot lock was great on the river. Just hit it when netting a fish and stay there until no more bites. The only trouble I had was that it tries to stop your momentum by turning 180,…sometimes it beeped and quit trying. Other than that it worked perfectly. Well worth the dollars!

BTW, fishing has slowed in Prescott,..still got a 2 person limit but we worked pretty hard for them.

Yea that’s one thing they could inprove on I had mine wrapped around twice, wasn’t paying any attention to it just fishing heard a squeaking noise looked up front and the cords were all wrapped up. Had to stop and unwind it then continued on great product
