Shimano Stradic Cl4

    Any one have one? Opinions? Been lookin at new reels for my Fenwick elite tech drop shot rod and have a bias towards Shimanos. Be using it for drop shotting bass and jigging eyes. Thanks in advance for any info you can share.

    i have one and they are great! if you can find one. all most places seem to have are the 1000s. i found a 2500 this winter and so far has only fought a few fish. feels great now, will know in a year or two if they hold up. they are made out of carbon fiber i believe, and they are VERY light compared to other spinning reels

    I have both the 1000 and the 2500 and absolutely love them!!!

    I bought one because of the weight. But the one I purchased did not feel smooth at all compared to the one I played with in the store and I returned it. Maybe it was just a bad one or needed some break in time. But it made me leery.

    I have one and love it. Very light, Very Smooth and worth the price tag.

    Good Luck to find one in stock.
