Sufix leadcore: any opinions?

Just noticed that Sufix is offering a leadcore line. Anyone have experience with it?

I’ve used 3 or 4 brands of leadcore over the years, and it’s clear that some are superior to others. In fact, last year Dean helped identify a remarkably (imho) kink-resistant lead that did a nice job of preventing those little lead burrs from poking through the outer sheath.

I wonder how this Sufix line will perform?? I guess there’s one good way to find out.

Last weekend I spooled up 2 #47’s with it. When I get out I’ll let you know what I think of it.

The website states it has a high density lead core. I didn’t know that you could make lead denser than the density listed on the periodic table or any other lead core material. The only way it could be more dense would be to use a more pure lead or alloy it with gold.
