trolling motor repair?

    Anyone tackle a trolling motor lower unit repair? I have a Minn Kota 50# maxxum that I am d-i-yng and need to have a few tips b4 I dive in.

    Thats too easy I already have the internal rebuild kit just thought someone may have done repair project on their own.

    I just did mine this winter. Mine was an autopilot but I’m seriously doubting there’s a difference in the lower units-good luck. jerr
