This may be a dumb question, but what size circuit breaker should be on the wire leading to a terrova 24v. The ones at fleet farm all say 12v. And thats what was on there when we bought it.

I have a 50a on my 24v. I picked them up at a RV store used a lot in campers and motor homes.

So the circuit breaker is supposed to say 12v on it? I was thinking for a 24v troll, the circuit breaker should be a 24v…. guess not.

    Not sure about yours

Someone else here may be able to help out.

But I have one on each battery.

One 60 amp circuit breaker is all you need. Not necessary to have one on each battery. You put it in the wire going between your batteries and your trolling motor. I got my Minnkota brand one from Amazon.com for $40. You can also find them at Fleet Farm for around $40, but they aren’t Minnkota brand.
