For those of you who have/have had Minn Kota battery chargers, what are your opinions of them? Good, bad, or indifferent? I am considering the purchase of a new charger for my rig. I am looking at the Minn Kota MK 345. I have always had Guest chargers in the past, with no problems, but am considering a change to this unit. Any issues or concerns?
(I am also trying to stimulate the economy for Wade a bitt too. )
    Thanks.

I bought my 3 banker from Wade 4 years ago..maybe longer.

No problems here. Knock on wood.

I don’t have anything to compare it to, except the portable chargers. And that’s not a comparison!

Just bought a 3 bank to replace a pro mariner. I hope it lasts longer. promariner happy for 2 years then crapped out. Minn kota has 3 year warranty. I is much larger unit. Cabelas has a promariner 3 bank on sale for 79.00 minn kota was 300. Read mixed reviews on both. Went minn kota for a change.

    I love being stimulated…

Good reputation and great service from Johnson Outdoors. The three year warranty makes ’em tough to beat, IMO.

Don’t forget about the MinnKota battery charger rebates that kick in for purchases made from Feb 15 until July 1, 2010:

    $30 for the MK-220, MK-330, and MK-440
    $20 for the MK-210 and MK-315

I bought my Minn Kota 3 bank last year and received a $30 rebate. Great charger and would buy another.

I got the 3 bank 330 from Wade several years ago and it must be good because I have forgotten all about it. It has functioned flawlessly and I just plug it in and forget about it. I would have to give it–and Wade—two thumbs up

No troubles with my 3-bank….has been able to pick up a charge on even completely drained battery’s, where previous chargers I’ve had couldn’t.

Thanks for the replies/info guys. I think I’ll wait for the February rebate dates and possibly look at the MK 330 instead.
I’ll be giving you a shout shortly Wade! Can you say,…. “Stimulation?”
(That would be a fog-horn word on GL.)

I’ve got a 2-bank MK charger – it’s been going good through 2 seasons so far with zero problems.

I have the MK 330 in my boat and it has worked great. Only had one problem with it, one bank quit working on it. Sent it back into Minnkota and they sent me a brand new one to replace it. Fast turn around time too. So even with the problem I have been happy that it is installed in the boat.
