2 HP Mag powerhead with Lazer 8″ blade

Will the 2 HP Solo powerhead have enough power to run an 8 inch Lazer without getting hung up or bogged down? I have the chipper right now and it drills great but would like to get the Lazer as well.

SHOULD BE FINE MY BUDDY HAS A 8 INCH LAZER BIT ON A TECUMSEH 2HP MAG 2000 HEAD AND IT WORKS SWEET. IT SEEM TO ME THAT THE SOLO PWERHEADS HAVE MORE GRUNT THEN THE TECUMSEHS.

I cannot vouch for the Solo engine, but I too originally purchased a Mag2000 2hp powerhead a few years back and recently replaced the chipper bit with a brand new lazer auger, works Fantastic!
