Lowrance handheld questions…New Endura

I think my H2O is fried. I emailed lowrance and they want $150 bucks to repair it. Has anyone used the new lowrance endura series handhelds? I see the new endura handhelds use the micro sd cards. When is lakemaster coming out with mico sd mapping cards?

If I can buy a new endura for $199 I would rather not fix a 5 year H20 for 50 bucks less.

When? When the Endura series is capable of using one.

My understanding is the endura series still is not capable of displaying mapping data. Or at least that’s what I was told at the ICe Show by people that should know.

Here’s a link to a product announcement we posted several months ago on this topic.

For $150 I doubt they would actually fix your unit.

You would more than likely get a new unit or refurbished one… A $150 is probably their cost to manufacture it plus a little.

James would be correct. Endura will at some point take Navionics or Lakemaster micro chips. Right now they do not. Once again waiting for software update for Lowrances new units. The big question is when? Could be a while knowing Lowrance.Might be worth your time to get another H2O. You might find a good deal right now.

I just had the same problem. I contacted lowrance and they said they would send me a replacement unit for 99.95 + 12.95 for shipping. It kind of sucks that their products start to fail after a couple years. But I guess the discounted price they give you to replace it, isn’t to bad. Better than buying a new one.
