Jason or someone else– Is something going on at Minnkota? I have called their 800 number multiple times over las 12 days always busy– I have emailed them no response— my foot control on my riptide ( the left-right rocker mechanism doesn’t turn the motor) needs to be sent in somewhere to be fixed. any advice appreciated, Thanks

This advice assumes you have your sales receipt and you’re inside your warranty period. Do a quick search for an authorized service center near you at this website : http://www.minnkotamotors.com/service/asclocator.aspx

Any ASC can take care of the issue you described. My experience has been I bring in the faulty foot pedal, show my receipt and walk out with a new pedal as long as the ASC has one in stock. The process is very quick and painless so that’s where I’d start.

James’ advice is exactly where I was heading. You need to get in touch with or visit your nearest MinnKota authorized service center.

Use the website below in conjunction with your zip code to find the service center nearest you.
