Got it and thanks, I think I see a early delivery locally so I should be good to go by the weekend.

A few more questions if I may, can you start a programed course, hit the Spot lock and then go back to the programed route?
Also can you use the foot control to over ride the set course or control speed while the I-pilot is engaged??

If you mentioned any of this, sorry I missed it.

First of all I have to say i love my i-pilotbut….I have a I-pilot 12v and have went threw 3 batterys now in the past 4 months. I don’t know whats going on here I haven’t even used it lately went to charge the battery and it’s screwed again. Should I be disconnecting it when not in use or what. anyone heard of this problem. last time i returned the battery they said 6 cells were dead. I must be the minnkota.

Check to see if the motor is drawing power when it is off. The easiest way is the wire will spark when you hook it up. If it sparks then you need to test it to see how much power it is drawing while sitting. I doubt the I pilot is drawing the power. Most likely it is in the trolling motor somewhere.

The I-pilot will draw power as long as it is connected. The gps feature is always working. Perhaps this was your issue.
