Ranger Baitwell Switch

I have a 02′ 619 Ranger. I am having an issue with the Livewell/Baitwell switch. It is the dual power button that runs the switch, push once the livewell is on, twice the baitwell is on and 3 times they are both on. For some reason it is only working for the livewell. Acts like the baitwell switch isn’t even there. Click once the livewell turns on, twice the livewell shuts off. Doesn’t even attempt to send power to the fuse panel for the baitwell. Can a guy replace just that switch or do I have to replace the entire panel? Trying to figure this out without having to disassemble it. Any help would be appreciated. Fuses are all good, pump is good (hooked it up to the livewell wires to check). Thanks in advance.

more than likely your pump is dead. pull up the access panel on the floor and switch the connector from your livewell pump (while it’s on) to your baitwell pump and if it doesn’t run there’s your problem. if the light doesn’t light it *usually* means the pump is dead or an *open* in the circuit.

Your dealer or Ranger direct will have another pump for you – they just twist out and replace.

Good luck and let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks Ted. I will try it this weekend and report back.
