I have 06 Alumacraft Tourny Pro the speedometer stopped working. I went under the dash and found a hose but no real spot to go too behind it. Do they still run off of the water? or should I start checking fuses?

The pito tube is probably got a weed or leaf in it. On the lower transom.

Pull the tube off the back of the speedometer and blow some compressed air back through it. More then likely have some gunk in the tube or pickup.

THERE IS A SMALL HOLE ON THE FRONT EDGE OF YOUR LOWER UNIT. TAKE A FINE WIRE AN CLEAN IT OUT. IT HAPPENS TO MINE WHEN MY LOWER UNIT HITS THE STOP BUMPER ON MY HOIST.

If the wire doesnt work try a small drill bit. This hole is about half way up on the lead edge of the bottom half of your lower unit!
    good luck, Phil

Like others have said, it is most likey the pick-up on the lower unit that is clogged. A small enough drill bit works the best to clean it on. Clean it out the best you can, then try running compressed air from the dash all the way back. That should blow out any remaining pieces and let you know if there is a clear path all the way.
