I allways wanted to try planer boards. I have decided on the Church boards just because they are ready to use and no need of changing releases.

My question is which size the 22 or 12?

    Thank You

I’m not sure what the numbers are on mine, but they’re called the “Walleye Board” from Church, they work great.

The tx-22 are the ones that I use. They work great and are reversible.

TX -6’s are actually suprisingly poweful planers for such a small size (dollar bill size)… could give those a shot for your inside lines. Nice not to have to reel in/deal with the drag of the larger boards.

Otherwise, the 12 or the 22 will handle about anything. Go with the 22 if you think you might use leadcore with them.

Thanks Whittsend…….. Might just as well plan ahead since the 22`s will pull lead.
