I went over the Hastings bridge heading north about 10:30am yesterday. Noticed what looked like a boat with booms out each side of the boat,the type of boat used by map chips companys to scan waters…
My son and I headed out on the river at 1:00pm, and we couldn’t find them to see if they had any signage on the boat. Working on Pool 3 details? PLEASE!!!
More likely the Corps of Engineers checking out the barge channels for dredging.

I was out there yesterday afternoon scanning around, but I don’t think I have the mental capacity to make a map chip. 
I was on the water from 2-8 and did not see this boat either.
Couple of likely senarios, compared to getting data for a fishing chip. I guess I’ll keep dreaming…
