Outboard Keys

    A theft occurred at my home last week. Among the items taken were both copies of the keys for my outboard. My dealer told me that without the key numbers (lesson learned) the best they can do for me is to try the 20+ keys they have of the 60+ different ones that exist. Or I can change out the ignition switch, which I am afraid to ask how much $!

    Do any of you have any better solutions than me running around the countryside to check every Yamaha dealer to find a key that fits?

    The outboard is a 2008 Yamaha F75 tiller.

    I had purchased a spare for my Yamaha. The package it came in had the # on it. Any notes in the owner’s manual on what it might be? Gregory
