I am going to be in the market for a good running clean boat this spring. I will not have much to spend, hopefully in the $3000 range. I am interested in either a flat or V. Preferably a 25 hp and bow mounted trolling motor. I fish mostly for eyes on the Miss, bass and panfish at Lake Onalaska so do not need anything real fancy. I looked at some nice Mirrocrafts today, but way to much money for a working man with a family. Please let me know what you have. Thanks. Mike
P.S. Motors on their last leg are not wanted, been through that twice and that is what has kept me from buying another boat used. But, you guys on here seem to be honest people.

I would check out Smitty’s Marine in Lake City, Mn. as Kenny has alot of used smaller boats back behind the main building. Look and see if you find something you like and then go talk to him. He really does have alot of used boats. If you find something you like great. If not give him your name and phone number telling him what you are looking for and what price range as he sells a ton of boats so always has different ones coming in on trade. Tell him Nate and I sent you. Thanks, Bill

Thanks to everyone who has posted so far. All sound good so far. I would love to be in a Pro-V, but the pocket book says it is out of my range. I got the pics of the 14′ flat. If there are pics of the Sylvan, I would like to see them, please. I am probably going to have to wait until closer to spring, but if something really pops out, I may be able to make special arrangements to try and find some green . Please keep them coming.

    Hey Dan!

I am a ways from Lacrosse, I live on West Rush Lake which is about an hour north of the cities. If you want to take a look at it and do some Ice fishing let me know! The crappie bite has been pretty darn good lately and ususally 3-4 walleyes a night, so, if you wanna kill two birds with one stone.. Pick up a good boat at a great price, AND catch some fish, let me know!

I know where you can pick up a Tuffy in the price range you are looking at. Trolling motor, 2 locators, good running motor. Let me know if you would like more details.

    Old Blue,

I might be interested in your boat (if no one else jumps on it first). Would it be possible to get some pics? If so, send them to [email protected]

    Thanks Much
