A friend of mine has his eye on a used Lund Angler SS with this motor. Wondering if anybody has experiences with this motor, good or bad? Anything to look out for? Would this be a Suzuki motor? or is that only 4 strokes? Any input on this motor would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Randy

    I have a 2000 johnson 115. 2-stk.

I think it is a very reliable motor, Not the most fuel efficient but I would rate it as a very solid motor.

Johnsons were the very best outboards you could buy back in their day.
The 115 is a good model.
I have the 70hp, works good, but a dinosaur compared to the new outboards today.

Mine pushes a 1650 Lund Fisherman.
I would like to upgrade to a 90 fourstroke but at $9500.00 I`ll stick with my old school motor.

I have a 2000 90 hp. That thing has been a pain to own. Its gone through 3 VRO pumps and 2 thermostats.

The dealer told me that the VRO pump has been redesigned 7 times. Supposedly the newest design hasn’t been altered in 2 years, so hopefully its a winner.

Anyways, when its not broken, the thing runs pretty well
