I have a Lowrance 334CiGPS. This unit has started turning itself on from time to time, sometimes when the boat is just sitting in the garage. Anyone know how to remedy this. I have been pulling the power cable, but it does it often when out on the water as well. Hate to have to unplug and replug before and after each use.

We had one that did this. Called Lowrance, received an authorization number and sent it in, they sent another unit back. Try giving them a call – be prepared to be put on hold…

My 332C just recently starting doing the same thing. I have the boat parked in the garage and came out one morning to find the unit on with the screen flashing. I have to disconnect it after each use. The funny thing is if I push the power button to turn it off it will turn off for a second and then turn back on and start flashing agian. If you find anything out please post it out here.

What kind of feather does one use in such an act? Duck, goose, grouse, songbirds,

I didn’t want to be the first one to de-rail the thread, but my initial though was…. Would it be possible for your Lowrance to teach my wife a thing or two in this regard?? We probably both have the same problem… Just not pushing the right buttons…

Turkeynate, that is what mine is doing as well. Also running the battery dead. It will stop for a while, then begin doing it again. Don’t completely count on it “working itself out of it”. That is what I thought after it had not done it for a couple months. I plan to contact Lowrance support today or tommorow.
