I have a Yamaha F150 and when towing it noticed that after about a 100 miles, the motor started to tip to the right. Found these steering centering clips on the Yamaha site that clip on the steering rods. Holds the motor straight. You have to purchase them through a dealer.

Can you use these if you don’t have the Sea Star assisted steering?

    Thanks,

The steering arms are 3/4″ and each clip in 4 iniches long. You could cut them to length if needed.

Looks like a good little solution. My F-200 is always turned on the trailer. BUT, how many times would I try to back away from the dock and not be able to turn the boat because I forgot to take them off ? Can you ever launch without forgetting something
