Best GPS chip for Namakan?

I have a Lowrance LMS 522c GPS/Sonar. What’s the best chip to get for maps of Namakan, Sand Point, and Kabetogama? Looking for the best detail, plus marked safe motor routes would be a big plus. I do have paper maps of these lakes with motor routes marked but it would be nice to see ’em on the GPS too. I’m most interested to hear from those who have actually been on these waters using whatever chip you recommend, but any advice is helpful.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

I have used the LM MN chip up there with good results, also I noticed my new LOTW/Rainy chip has all these waters as well. Probably same info as MN chip? They will get you close. Gorgeous country up there….

Both the new (May 1, 2009) Minnesota and new Woods/Rainy will have Kab and the western edge of Nam in hi def 1 ft contours. The balance of Namakan, Sand Point and Crane are in 5/10 ft contours.

Good to know about the new chips. Do either of them mark safe navigation routes on Namakan? I have this on my paper maps, but paper sucks when your up on a step.
