I was out today on pool 2 and had a chance to check out my new 2009 Navionics chip that has pool 2 on it. The maps were great and had some nice detail. However, I didn’t see any wing dams. It seems strange that they would leave them off. Maybe they just aren’t showing up on my Humminbird. Anyone else tried out this chip on Pool 2?
My 2007 or 2008 chip has them. Were you reading it right? The wing dams are just lines, not shown as contours.
I am using a Lowrance GPS but I don’t think that matters.
i ahve them programmed into my humminbird, but they show up as thin white lines. i have to get my nose about an inch away to see any. that is on pool 4 anyways
I have the same problem. My 09 chip shows no evidence of wing dams at all and if it does all it says is “rock hazard”
