I am having trouble with my nav lights being dim. Has anyone else ran into this problem? I am thinking that it is a bad ground, any thoughts?

Yes, your ground is most likely the culprit.

Most likely ground or wires. Helped a friend re-wire his boat a few yrs ago. Evidently not all boat builders use actual marine grade wire. The copper wire on his boat wicked moisture inside of the insulation. A 4 ft section of wire had more resistance then a 400 ft roll should have. Check wires and connections. Check resistance with a meter or strip back some wire and see if it is black from corrosion
