    Product Announcement

    LakeMaster is pleased to announce the long awaited release of the 2009 LakeMaster Digital product line compatible with Lowrance/Eagle GPS electronics. Our 2009 map card series for Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and Lake of the Woods/Rainy Lake will be available for shipping beginning May 1st, 2009!

    The new LakeMaster products include:

    More Hi-Definition lake coverage for each State.

    More Hi-Definition survey data for Lake of the Woods.

    All LakeMaster products are compatible with the new Lowrance HDS series of GPS units.

    We have enhanced the depth contour line graphics for easier viewing on the new HDS units and most older Legacy units.

    A complete list of new lakes added to each product will be available on the LakeMaster website April 20th.

    That’s awesome. I wish the chips would be released about a month earlier though. Sometime electronics have glitches and it would be nice to find out sooner then later if there are issues.

    I have a Lowrance 522 with GPS looking for a chip that would work the best for fishing the Mississippi River from pool 4 all the way down to 8. Can anyone suggest the best chip, price, and where I can buy it.

    I was between two wing dams last night in the dark. It wasn’t my boat and I was very very nervous about damaging the prop. Using the LakeMaster chip in my H2O and a depth finder I found the two wingies exactly where the chip said they would be.

    Now if I could only figure out how to keep the background light turned on with the H20 I would be a happy man!
