My Dad isn’t too comfortable with computers so he asked me to post to solicit opinions on the Fenwick Elite Tech Walleye series spinning rods. He is considering a 6’8″ MLF rod to use jigging mostly for walleye though I’m sure if he is happy with it will do double duty for panfish.

Has anyone tried one of these rods yet? What do you think of them?

    Thanks

I have played with them in the store, they feel nice but I haven’t gotten to use one yet. I love the Techna AV line these are supposed to be better.

They are a little cheaper then the Techna Av’s. Fenwick makes very good poles. I haven’s used an Elite yet but i have used the Fenwick HMX, HMG, and the Techna AV’s. I think the Elite is very very similar to these three poles. He should be very happy with it!

You will be impressed with the Fenwick Elite Tech Walleye rods. They don’t have a 6′-8″ rod, but they have a 6′-9″ model. I’ve been using four new EWS69ML-F Fenwick Elite Tech Walleye Jigging rods since last fall. I have especially liked the EWS69ML-F rods for Jig Dragging and Jig Casting. The 6′-9″ medium-light power coupled with the Fast tip action also make them a great choice for blade bait casting. You will not be disappointed in their performance.
