“My” Skeeter 1880

This summer, I’ll be representing Skeeter Boat Center in the FLW Walleye League – MN division by driving a 2009 Skeeter WX 1880, powered by a Yamaha 200 HPDI and a T8 kicker.

The rigging is now complete on this boat, and today was her maiden voyage. This is quite simply a gorgeous boat.

This 1880 is equipped with Humminbird electronics (side imaging at the console), a Minn Kota Terrova 101 on the bow, and a trollmaster for dialing in that perfect trolling speed. She is rigged with “double bubbles” rather than a full walk through windshield, which gives her a very stealthy appearance.

Visitors to Everts will get to see her in action tomorrow. Be sure to ask for a test drive if you’re interested in seeing how she performs! I expect that she will be one sleek walleye catching machine!

That’s a great looking ride Jason. The wife and I were playing around on the Skeeter website last night. She seems a little more interested in the idea of me getting a new boat when she seen how you can pick all the colors. If I make back up that way I’ll be looking you up for a test ride.

I saw it in person running down the Chippewa and I have to say that it sure is a good looking one. I’m looking forward to see if it can catch any big girls. Jason, have fun fishin tomorrow and make sure and give us the report. Dan

Sweet rig. Love that 997 Humminbird and the dual consoles vs full shield. Good Luck out on the river Friday!

WOW! What a sharp looking boat! And it’s rigged exactly how I would rig it (T8, troll master, humminbirds etc…) How could anyone not catch fish in this boat! Good luck Jason fishing the FLW this year and thank you Skeeter Boat Center for your continued support of IDO.

If I were going to come up with the perfect walleye boat I think this boat would be it! I am a tin boat guy but these news Skeeters sure have me thinking! Nice ride and I bet that baby will catch fish

Alright, NO WINDSHIELDS!!!!!! (inside joke there).
Better bring two hats, feeling you are about to lose one with the way that boat is going to fly.
Better post the results from your “test run” for us, I have a feeling you will be getting 57 mph out of it.
    Congrats Jason.
