I was in the market for a new semi-auto shotgun and have been looking in to the Franchi 612. It is a division of Benelli & Beretta. I was wondering if yall had heard anything about these shotguns. I have been on most of the forums to see what people had thought about the Franchi and I have heard nothing but great things about it. I get on this forum for the bass discussions so I figured I’d ask about this. Thanks in advance-

Dixie, I have handled/ shot a Franchi 20 semi auto and really liked it. Thought it was well balanced and handled and operated very smoothly. Don’t know anything about the durability of their products though.

I purchased a Franchi Camo 612 this fall and love it. Even with the 28″ barrel it only weighs 7lbs. It comes up nice and the stock can be adjusted for left handed shooters. the only problem is that you cannot change the safety for lefties, but it’s othe attributes make it worth the bother for us lefties.
