motor repair question

    I brought my 40 hp suzuki outboard year 2001 in and they said the lower unit is bad and i need a new one. they also said you cant buy a whole lower unit you have to buy all the pieces to it and put them together. is this true or can you buy the whole lower unit all together for this motor?

    Boat Motor Recyclers in Burnsville might be able to help you. I know a guy that had to get parts from them once before and they have a lot of inventory. 952-894-4888
