terrova??????

    Terrova is the response time a lot faster then the power drive 2 model? I had a power drive 2 and the response time is to slow for me. Should I just get the fortex?

    I’ve had both, and the terrova is faster than the power drive I use to have. I also left Minnkota and went with a Motor Guide which was faster also, but spent a lot of money on repairs. I love my terrova. I also got the co pilot to go with it and can’t be happier. It’s not as fast as a cable drive, but I don’t want to be glued to my foot pedal all day. I’ve fished in some pretty stiff winds and it’s preformed well. I also have auto pilot on mine which comes in handy when landing a fish, or tying a jig without my boat spinning out of control. Just my 2 cents.

    Call me crazy, but when I use the co-pilot on my powerdrive, the response is faster than the pedal. But I only use the remote about 10 percent of the time.
