Bumped into a guy the other day that talked a lot about handlining the high flow situations. Always looking for something new to try and have fun. Does anybody have a beginner’s guide or notes on handlining?

If you find someone to teach you, latch on around here it’s a dying art.

    Buy a prop guard!

I just started handlining last year, so im no expert by any means. Takes a while to get used to, but I think its a great tool to have during certain conditions.

I found it difficult to find alot of information on the topic online, but hopefully some others can chime in an offer some.

See guys doing it on Pool 4. Looks kind of relaxing.

if you ever get a chance to hook up with someone from the detriot river/st clair river area that handlines, they are the people to ask questions as a whole. i have from taylor, mi whose dad has been pulling wire for 30 years, its an art form to land a pig

Stop in and see Deano at Everts.

I watch 4 go out of the bait shop last weekend.

I don’t know ANYthing about them…except that a left handed model is more expensive than a right handed one.

Someone got a good deal. Sorry Dean and to the guy that had the specially ordered left hander!
