I am looking at putting rod holders on my new boat. After checking around, I found and ad on Folbe rod holders. They look like they are very well made and easy to use.

ive got four driftmasters in my boat and i like them for how i fish. they are cheap and unbreakable and the bases are pretty small and out of the way. they arent any good for trolling, but they are called driftmasters. because they screw into the base you might want to look into left hand twist models for the left side of your boat.

Cabelas sells the Driftmaster rod holders. Very well made, very solid. Do a search on driftmaster and you’ll find their site. If you cantact them ask for Dave Baynard, he’ll set you up nicely. If you want mnore detailed info, drop me a pm.

The Folbe rod holders are the “cats meow” in rod holders.Easy to install ,easy to get the rod out and in.I checked them out one day while up Dean at Everts.

I will definately be a proud owner of a few real soon

I don’t know how many Folbe’s I’ve sold after clients have used them in my boat.

Check in with Dean about the Folbes before you by anything.

The on the water demos are well worth the time.

i love the folbe rod holders, i even really like the RAM rod holders. I just cannot justify spending that much on a rod holder, when i can get a two pack at fleet farm for 18 bucks that will fill my need.

my opinion on the big picture is, if you need to be able to react to a rod that fast that only a Folbe will work…you probably should have that rod in your hand and not in a holder to begin with…

rodholders are for pulling cranks, and bobber or fishing the bottom when anchored, and you don’t need to get the rod out in a split second for those. when ever i am rigging bait, or dragging, i’ve always got the rod in my hand with a finger on the line with the bail open.
