Dock Floats

    I am thinking about replaceing/rebuilding my floating dock
    on Pool 9. My current dock floats by a series of plastic
    barrels. I would like to go with the preferred encapsulated
    foam blocks, as they won’t leak or leach former contents.
    I have found several online sources….but was wondering if any one knew of a local supply source within reasonable driving distance from Pool 9. I have a feeling the shipping charges on the online purchase would be stiff….plus could
    send my $ to a local vendor The floats I have
    been looking at are 36″ x 48″ x 12″ and provide about 690 lbs of buoyancy. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    FleetFarm in Rochester MN has alot of dock making material
    including floats like you described. Might want to check
    them out, I would expect the Winona MN store would have the dock parts also.

    Thanks I’ll have to check them out next time I’m up that way. Went to their website and didn’t see them but they
    probably don’t list everything.
