Limit Creek Rod owners…

    Just got a 6’9″ ML “Smoothie”… Was wondering what reels have been good for this rod balance wise. Also, will this be a good pitching jig rod?

    I have been using Abu Garcia Cardinal 302 reels on my Limit Creek rods. These are decent reels that are pretty inexpensive. The rods work great for pitching!

    second that have 3 milit creeks and shimano sedonas….love them…that being said though Dean just rigged my St Croix with a pfluger and i will say they are a sweet reel as well! Not sure yet for sure but I do think the pfluger is a little bit smoother and lighter as well.

    Great Rod and on my 2 “smoothies” I have Shimano Saros on them great balance, I feel that rod and rod tip do so much for feel and balance in its self!
