I think this is the right forum for this post…. It seem as though everyone agrees with Stillakid when they go fishing with me….

Helmets are available at Cub Foods and run about 50 cents to just over a dollar.

What are you trying to tell us Brian? That you may be dangerous to our health? By any chance do you like to hook and cast your fishing partners to the fish when casting? Great pic Bud. We can all always use some humor-its great medicine. Thanks, Bill

Well Bill, to be honest…I don’t see anything wrong with my casting, retreiving abilities……but…I’ve been told to “stick to trolling”.

PS there have been studies done, that if you take yourself or life too seriously….you will catch less fish.

Thats right! I use to be a serious troller, still am, but I now like to mix things up more so you better watch out for my casting too if you happen to be the guy in the boat next to me. Even though Dusty lets me catch the fish he misses he still keeps his distance from me and always makes sure that Mike Little is closer to me than he is. We will just blame it on Mike Little and on Mike Smith at Hooked On Fishing for having all those neat plastics that catch fish. Thanks, Bill

ps. How come you get to hold two fish in your pic and I only get to hold one? You aren’t casting with two poles at once are you???

So, you’re saying that Mike Little is the buffer? Is the “pin cushion” to protect everyone else in your boat (or in other boats that may come within the “red zone” of your lure?)

I love that idea! Mike L, would you do this for me when I take Stillakid out next spring? I’m sure he would be very greatful. And I wouldn’t have to listen to him scream in pain anymore!

Most people loose jigs to the bottom…I loose more when I have to clip the barb off to pull them out of the skin….

Mike is the buffer in Dustys boat so I can’t hook Dusty with my cast. I think all the sheepies Mike eats have affected him somehow as either hes real brave or hes turning into a fish [getting hooked by hooks]. lol. Thanks, Bill

Brian, maybe we can work out some sort of sponsorship deal. If you can get your hands on about 1500 of these bad boys we need to sit down and talk business.

Brian…………..For the last time…………….if you WANT to SEE what “the problem” is………you’ve GOT to OPEN YOUR EYES! You can troll with your eyes shut all you want………set your settings and ……………..and ………………and some more! And just to clarify, no one told you to stick to trolling……………only suggested. If my memory serves me right………and I know that it does ……… the comment was, “I can see why you troll a lot.” And that was it!

Hey, at least I gave you a lure that worked so you could bring A fish to the boat! …………….still ain’t figured out why I haven’t been in your boat since!

Hey GH, the colorful post almost matches his colorful words when a 3/4 oz jig is looking him straight in the eyes. I have to tell ya, the guy has great reflexes…

That was a 3/4 oz. jig??? No wonder you couldn’t keep it out of the rip rap!

You know buddy…………we got all winter…….maybe early spring (when it’s warmer and water to practice on). We should get together and introduce you to some good shore banging equipment, technique, and strategy. I don’t have all the answers and I’m not master of all techniques but I know of this great website, filled with good quality people that could assist in any of the challenges I can’t help you conquer.
